Day 2: A Solid 6

So today was okay, health wise. I took a few baby steps to get back on the right path.

  • Had my shakeology this morning (it was chocolate, which isn't the BEST but it's not that bad either)
    • I barley snacked all day, I was busy but I still didn't eat ONE animal cracker and that's a pretty big deal.
    • I did have more energy even though I stayed up watching DWTS past my bed time
  • If you know me you know what a HUGE deal this is: We went out to dinner at Olive Garden. Instead of ordering my favorite (Chicken Prigmivera, YUM) I decided that I would do a little better. So I ordered from their 'low calorie' menu. Love Salmon, but it came with broccoli, but I ordered it anyways. Not only did I eat most of it I enjoyed it. I am NOT a veggie person. But that broccoli was delish. - a HUGE victory in my book. Now if I can just figure out how to make it like that! 

I'd highly recommend the Herb Grilled Salmon (even the accompanying broccoli)

So I know Olive Garden isn't a great place to be on a diet (and I'm not gonna lie, I scarfed down a bread stick, too)  BUT, baby steps people. I'm working on it... slowly but surely!!!

Also, I FINALLY ordered my Shakeology (yay!). Hopefully it'll get here soon because I'm officially out of samples! (I feel so much better that I just finally ordered it instead of worrying about ordering it- haha I'm such a worrier)

One of the main reasons I started this is to share my Beachbody journey. So here's what I've decided. I'm not going to pursue people as a coach just yet. Before I reach out to people to try products I want to have first hand experience of the product and what it does for me. I'm still looking at different workouts, and when my Shakeology comes in Step 1 of my journey will be on like Donkey Kong!! However, if you're interested in trying this with me then I would LOVE company. Having people to share Journeys with is SO much motivation for me.
